[NI068] Mildred A. Woodard Still said he committed suicide. He went out to the
barn after making a fire for Minnie, his wife, to cook. When he didn't
come back, they went to the barn and found that he had hanged himself. He
had told Minnie before he left that he loved every bone in her body.

[NI152] Possibly born in Pittsylvania County, VA.

[NI156] Either 3 or 8 Apr 1797. Maude McGlasson papers from Jackson Co. TN says
8 April. Birthplace, VA, found in 1850 census.

[NI160] Date uncertain. Need to verify.

[NI161] Was Smith County when he died.

[NI260] Uncle Les Woodard said Hester was born in the A. B. King Hollow on Funns
Branch.

[NI268] Tombstone spells his name Edker and I'm not sure of the date. Tombstone
also lists death date as 1902.

[NI271] Died 22 or 23 Sept, 1912.
